This band works so freaking hard. If you have ever seen them you know what I mean. The true test for any band should be: "CAN THEY DO IT LIVE AND ACOUSTIC?" The answer for Shinedown is a resounding "hell yeah!" Just buy it.

I got the who Sound of Madness album when I got Second Chance. I didn't start listening to it until a friend told me they went to a concert. Now I have Leave a Whisper, Us and Them, the Sound of Madness, Dimond Eyes, and Junkies for Fame. Once I saw this, I knew I had to get it. Love the raw version of Call Me and What a Shame. Loved it on the album before this. Love Shinedown.
  • Definitely worth the price.

When I first saw this album I thought "great, a compilation of songs I already own." I couldn't help but think that it was a 'Greatest Hits' type album even though they haven't been around for that long. WRONG! These are all Live, in studio & UNPLUGGED. Not recycled from previous releases. These songs may not be quite as good as the studio recordings (I think they are but it's all a matter of opinion) but even still this set of 8 of their best tracks is well worth the money. You get to hear what they sound like unplugged and they are pretty darn good. It's nice to see that in this world of "nah, you'll sound great when we tweak it on the computer" that some bands can still sound great with out the help.
  • No Wonder I Listen To These Guys
